MV AGUSTA 150CC SPORT "SUPER" LUSSO

150-Sport-Super-Lusso

While MV Agusta built many motorcycles with sporting potential, actual factory-built race bikes were rare machines. When the factory constructed racing machines, they affixed a brass tag to the engine case. In Lusso trim, this SS was equipped with a front telescopic hydraulic fork, and a rear swingarm with hydraulic shock absorbers. The brakes were enlarged from the Sport “E” model; the front grew from 130mm to 180mm, the rear was enlarged from 130mm to 150mm. The Lusso was fitted with a longer seat cushiom, alowing the rider to assume a more sporting stance while on the vehicle. The engine was the same as the Sport “E” in that it generated 9 horsepower at 6500rpm. Tough the bike didn’t have an excess of power, it only weighed 92 KG, giving it nimble handling. The model was also produced in some different “Race” versions.
